The Renaissance front loading kiln is designed with European features such as a "Dutch" arch for an roof that is much stronger than the flat roofs found on some competitive kilns, a manual vent along with an automatic vent, an integrated stand with shelf racks and a drawer for posts. A door shut-off switch, door clasp for locking the door, fiber rope gasket, 2-1/2" of firebrick backed up with 2" of mineral wool, cone 10 operation, DynaTrol program control with three zone control, hard ceramic element holders, elements on the door, back and sides, nitride-bonded silicon carbide shelves, type S platinum thermocouples all make this the very best value on the market for front loading kilns.
